Sam Michaud is the recipient of the 2023 Maine VOAD Member of the Year Award.
In addition to being the Director of Facilities at Good Shepherd Food Bank, Sam has served as the President of Maine VOAD for the past three years.
Sam is a tireless advocate for emergency preparedness and response. He is often one of the first people to reach out and see what anyone needs and how we can work together.
Sam is passionate about building and fostering relationships. Due to his warm and thoughtful approach, many organizations that are part of MEVOAD today are a reflection of his work.
Sam is a strong representative of Maine VOAD, representing us locally, regionally, and nationally; he is welcoming, informative, and a natural at making connections.
